These Affiliate Terms & Conditions (“Affiliate Terms”) govern participation in the BookWellNow Affiliate Program (“Affiliate Program”) operated by BookWellNow (“BookWellNow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By applying to, participating in, or promoting BookWellNow through the Affiliate Program, you (“Affiliate”, “you”, or “your”) agree to these Affiliate Terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not apply for or participate in the Affiliate Program.
1. About the Affiliate Program
The BookWellNow Affiliate Program allows approved individuals, businesses, agencies, creators, developers, publishers, and other eligible partners to earn commissions by referring new customers to BookWellNow using affiliate referral links provided through our affiliate platform.
BookWellNow uses Freemius to manage affiliate tracking, referrals, commissions, affiliate accounts, and related affiliate program functionality.
Participation in the Affiliate Program is subject to approval by BookWellNow.
2. Eligibility
You may apply to become a BookWellNow affiliate if you:
- Are legally capable of entering into an agreement.
- Provide accurate and complete application information.
- Have a legitimate website, audience, business, social media presence, or other approved promotional channel.
- Agree to these Affiliate Terms.
- Follow applicable laws and advertising requirements.
- Follow BookWellNow’s brand and promotional guidelines.
You do not need to have previously purchased BookWellNow to apply.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
BookWellNow may approve or reject an application at its discretion.
3. Affiliate Approval
All affiliate applications may be manually reviewed before approval.
BookWellNow may consider:
- Your website or portfolio.
- Your social media profiles.
- Your audience and promotional methods.
- The type of content you publish.
- Your proposed method of promoting BookWellNow.
- Compliance with these Affiliate Terms.
BookWellNow may reject applications that it believes may create legal, technical, reputational, or promotional risks.
4. Affiliate Account
After approval, you will receive access to affiliate tools provided through our affiliate platform.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
- Keeping your account credentials secure.
- Using only your own affiliate account.
- Not sharing your affiliate account with another person.
- Informing BookWellNow of significant changes to your promotional channels.
You must not create multiple affiliate accounts without prior written permission from BookWellNow.
5. Commission
Approved affiliates are currently eligible to earn:
30% Commission
The standard affiliate commission rate is 30% of eligible purchases attributed to the affiliate.
Commission rates may be changed by BookWellNow in accordance with these Affiliate Terms and the applicable Affiliate Program settings.
Commissions are subject to:
- Successful payment.
- Valid referral attribution.
- Customer eligibility.
- Applicable refund or cancellation conditions.
- Fraud and compliance checks.
- The applicable Affiliate Program rules.
6. New Customer Requirement
The Affiliate Program currently rewards referrals for new customers who have not previously purchased BookWellNow.
A customer who has previously purchased BookWellNow may not generate a new customer acquisition commission through a subsequent affiliate referral.
BookWellNow and its affiliate platform may use available account, transaction, and tracking information to determine customer and referral eligibility.
7. Subscription Renewal Commissions
Where enabled in the Affiliate Program, approved affiliates may receive commissions on eligible subscription renewals from customers they originally referred.
Renewal commissions remain subject to:
- Applicable Affiliate Program settings.
- Valid attribution.
- Successful renewal payment.
- Refunds or chargebacks.
- Affiliate account status.
- These Affiliate Terms.
BookWellNow may modify renewal commission rules for future referrals or future transactions.
8. Referral Tracking and Cookie
BookWellNow currently uses a 90-day referral tracking cookie.
When a visitor clicks an eligible affiliate referral link, the referral may be recorded for up to 90 days, subject to the affiliate platform’s tracking technology, browser settings, privacy settings, cookie restrictions, and other technical limitations.
Tracking may not work if:
- Cookies are blocked.
- The visitor clears cookies.
- Browser privacy settings prevent tracking.
- Tracking technology is disabled.
- The customer uses a different device or browser.
- The customer uses another referral link before purchasing.
- Technical or attribution limitations prevent the referral from being recorded.
BookWellNow does not guarantee that every referral will be successfully tracked.
9. Referral Attribution
BookWellNow currently uses first-affiliate attribution.
Where multiple eligible affiliates refer the same customer, the affiliate credited under the applicable Freemius attribution rules will receive the referral commission.
BookWellNow reserves the right to investigate disputed referrals and correct commissions resulting from tracking errors, fraud, duplicate accounts, or other invalid activity.
10. Approved Promotional Channels
Affiliates may promote BookWellNow through approved promotional channels, including:
- Their own websites.
- Blogs.
- WordPress-related content.
- Tutorials.
- Product reviews.
- YouTube channels.
- LinkedIn.
- Facebook.
- X and other approved social networks.
- Direct client recommendations.
Promotional websites may be subject to manual approval.
BookWellNow may request that an affiliate stop using a particular website, account, page, campaign, or promotional method.
11. Prohibited Promotional Methods
Affiliates must not promote BookWellNow using deceptive, abusive, unlawful, or misleading methods.
The following activities are prohibited.
11.1 Spam
Affiliates must not use:
- Spam email.
- Unsolicited bulk messages.
- Automated comments.
- Forum spam.
- Blog comment spam.
- Mass unsolicited direct messages.
- Automated social media activity.
11.2 Misleading Claims
Affiliates must not make false, misleading, exaggerated, or unsupported claims about BookWellNow.
Do not claim:
- Guaranteed earnings.
- Guaranteed business results.
- Guaranteed conversions.
- Features that BookWellNow does not provide.
- Discounts that BookWellNow has not authorized.
- Fake customer numbers or statistics.
- Fake reviews or testimonials.
11.3 Fake Reviews
Affiliates must not create, purchase, generate, or publish fake reviews of BookWellNow.
Affiliates must not impersonate customers or falsely claim to have used BookWellNow.
11.4 Self-Referrals
Affiliates must not use their own affiliate link to purchase BookWellNow for themselves for the purpose of generating a commission.
You must not:
- Create fake customer accounts.
- Ask friends or employees to make artificial purchases.
- Purchase through your own referral link.
- Create transactions primarily to generate commissions.
12. Paid Advertising
Unless BookWellNow gives you written permission, affiliates must not run paid advertising campaigns that:
- Bid on BookWellNow brand keywords.
- Bid on BookWellNow trademarks.
- Impersonate BookWellNow.
- Use BookWellNow branding in a way that could confuse users into believing the advertisement is operated by BookWellNow.
- Redirect paid traffic through deceptive methods.
This includes search advertising platforms and other paid advertising networks.
BookWellNow may provide separate written advertising guidelines for approved affiliates.
13. Brand and Trademark Use
BookWellNow provides affiliates with limited permission to use approved BookWellNow logos, trademarks, screenshots, product names, and promotional materials solely for promoting BookWellNow through the Affiliate Program.
Affiliates must:
- Use current approved brand assets.
- Present BookWellNow accurately.
- Avoid modifying BookWellNow logos inappropriately.
- Avoid creating websites or social profiles that appear to be official BookWellNow properties.
Affiliates may not:
- Register domains containing BookWellNow trademarks without permission.
- Create social accounts that impersonate BookWellNow.
- Use BookWellNow branding to mislead customers.
- Claim to be an official BookWellNow employee or representative.
BookWellNow may revoke permission to use its branding at any time.
14. Affiliate Disclosure
If you receive a commission from purchases made through your affiliate links, you must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience.
For example:
Affiliate Disclosure: Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you purchase BookWellNow through one of these links, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliates are responsible for complying with applicable advertising, consumer-protection, disclosure, and platform rules.
Affiliate disclosures should be clear, visible, and understandable to the audience.
15. Social Media Promotions
When promoting BookWellNow on social media, affiliates must comply with the rules of the applicable platform.
Affiliates should clearly disclose their financial relationship with BookWellNow when making recommendations or endorsements.
For example:
#ad I may earn a commission if you purchase BookWellNow through my link.
The disclosure should be visible and understandable to the audience.
16. Email Marketing
Email and mobile-app promotion is not currently an approved promotional channel unless BookWellNow provides written authorization.
You must not add people to email marketing lists without appropriate permission or use BookWellNow affiliate links in unsolicited messages.
If email promotion is approved in writing, all applicable email marketing and privacy laws must be followed.
17. Coupons and Discounts
Affiliates may not create or advertise BookWellNow coupon codes or discounts unless those codes or discounts have been officially provided or authorized by BookWellNow.
Do not:
- Create fake discount codes.
- Advertise expired offers as current.
- Misrepresent BookWellNow pricing.
- Claim exclusive discounts without authorization.
18. Commission Eligibility
A commission may be withheld, reversed, or cancelled when:
- The purchase is refunded.
- The transaction is cancelled.
- The transaction results in a chargeback.
- The referral is fraudulent.
- The purchase violates the Affiliate Program rules.
- The customer was not eligible as a new customer.
- The affiliate used prohibited promotional methods.
- The referral cannot be reliably attributed.
- The affiliate account is suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms.
19. Refunds and Chargebacks
If a purchase generating an affiliate commission is subsequently refunded or charged back, the associated commission may be reversed.
If the commission has already been paid, BookWellNow may offset the amount against future eligible commissions or otherwise recover the amount where permitted by applicable law.
20. Payouts
The current minimum payout threshold is:
$50 USD
unless otherwise specified in the affiliate platform or updated Affiliate Program terms.
Commissions are paid according to the applicable BookWellNow Affiliate Program payout schedule and after they become eligible for payment.
Affiliate payouts may be subject to:
- Refund periods.
- Chargebacks.
- Fraud reviews.
- Minimum payout thresholds.
- Payment processing requirements.
- Accurate payout information.
Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
21. Taxes
Affiliates are responsible for determining and fulfilling their own tax obligations arising from commissions received through the Affiliate Program.
BookWellNow does not provide tax advice.
You may be required to provide additional tax or identity information where legally required.
22. Fraud and Abuse
BookWellNow may investigate suspicious affiliate activity.
Examples include:
- Artificial traffic.
- Automated clicks.
- Fake purchases.
- Cookie stuffing.
- Forced clicks.
- Misleading redirects.
- Duplicate accounts.
- Self-referrals.
- Fraudulent customer accounts.
- Manipulated referral attribution.
- Unauthorized use of BookWellNow branding.
BookWellNow may suspend commissions, suspend an affiliate account, reverse transactions, or terminate participation when fraudulent or abusive activity is identified.
23. Affiliate Monitoring
BookWellNow may periodically review affiliate websites, social media accounts, advertisements, content, and promotional methods to verify compliance with these Affiliate Terms.
BookWellNow may contact you regarding promotional content that does not comply with the Affiliate Program rules.
You agree to reasonably cooperate with such requests.
24. Suspension and Termination
BookWellNow may suspend or terminate an affiliate account if we believe the affiliate:
- Violated these Affiliate Terms.
- Used misleading promotional practices.
- Engaged in fraud or abuse.
- Damaged the BookWellNow brand or reputation.
- Violated applicable law.
- Used unauthorized promotional methods.
- Provided materially inaccurate information.
- Engaged in prohibited advertising.
Upon termination, you must stop:
- Using affiliate links.
- Promoting yourself as a BookWellNow affiliate.
- Using BookWellNow affiliate marketing materials.
- Using BookWellNow trademarks beyond any rights otherwise granted to you.
Eligible commissions that have not been cancelled or reversed may be handled according to the applicable Affiliate Program rules.
Commissions associated with fraud, prohibited activity, refunds, or other violations may be forfeited where permitted by applicable law.
25. Changes to the Affiliate Program
BookWellNow may modify:
- Commission rates.
- Cookie duration.
- Attribution rules.
- Renewal commission rules.
- Payout thresholds.
- Approved promotional channels.
- Program requirements.
- Affiliate Terms.
Changes may apply to future referrals and transactions.
BookWellNow will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes through the affiliate platform, website, or email.
Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, subject to applicable law.
26. No Employment or Partnership
Participation in the Affiliate Program does not create:
- An employment relationship.
- A franchise relationship.
- A joint venture.
- A legal partnership.
- An agency relationship.
Affiliates are independent parties and do not have authority to make commitments or representations on behalf of BookWellNow.
27. Confidentiality
Affiliates must not disclose confidential or non-public information provided by BookWellNow.
This may include:
- Non-public pricing.
- Private product information.
- Unreleased features.
- Internal communications.
- Confidential promotional materials.
- Affiliate-specific information.
This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available through no fault of the affiliate.
28. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookWellNow will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from participation in the Affiliate Program.
Nothing in these Affiliate Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
29. Disclaimer
The Affiliate Program is provided on an ongoing basis, but BookWellNow does not guarantee:
- A specific number of referrals.
- A specific amount of commission.
- A particular conversion rate.
- Any minimum income.
- Continued availability of the Affiliate Program.
Affiliate earnings depend on factors including audience, traffic, promotional activity, customer interest, purchases, and other circumstances outside BookWellNow’s control.
30. Governing Law
These Affiliate Terms will be governed by and interpreted according to the laws applicable to India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes will be subject to the applicable courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
