Reserve preparation or recovery time around an appointment with licensed Pro buffer controls.

Configure buffers

1. Open the service editor with licensed Pro active.
2. Set the buffer before and/or after the service.
3. Save the service and test availability around an existing booking.

For example, preparation time before a consultation should prevent another appointment from occupying that required interval. Verify both the displayed appointment duration and the blocked surrounding availability.

Troubleshooting

Check the service settings, assigned staff schedule and existing appointments. Free strips Pro buffer fields when saving, so install and license Pro before relying on these controls.
