Debug Log Settings

The Debug Log settings tab allows you to enable logging for your payment gateways. This is extremely useful for developers and store owners to troubleshoot booking and payment issues by recording transaction data and API responses.

Step 1: Open Debug Log Settings

Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to:

BookWellNow → Settings → Debug Log

Here you will see the Debug Log Settings page.

Step 2: Payment Debug Logs

Enable logging on a per-gateway basis to track specific payment flows:

• On Site method: Toggle the switch to enable logging for offline/on-site payments. Once enabled and after transactions occur, you can click View log, Download log, or Clear log to manage the recorded data.
• PayPal method: Toggle the switch to enable detailed API response logging for PayPal transactions. You can similarly View, Download, or Clear the PayPal logs to troubleshoot Sandbox or Live payment failures.

Click the Save Settings button at the top right corner to apply any changes.
